Our Introduction

Sarathi Nepal is a non-profit, social service-oriented organisation dedicated to the holistic development of children, women, and marginalised communities in Nepal. We work to create safe, inclusive, and child-friendly environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive with dignity and confidence.

Our journey began in the aftermath of the devastating 2015 earthquake in Nepal, when we actively supported women, children, and vulnerable families affected by the disaster. What started as relief and recovery efforts gradually evolved into long-term initiatives focused on education, child protection, and community empowerment.

Officially registered and operational since 2022, Sarathi Nepal now focuses on strengthening children’s learning experiences through educational and reading resources, life skills programmes, and close collaboration with parents, schools, local governments, and community partners. Through our work, we aim to nurture a culture of learning, reduce child violence, and ensure that every child—regardless of background—has access to opportunities for growth and well-being.

Our Mission

Sarathi Nepal is committed to the holistic development of children by promoting quality education, fostering a culture of reading and learning, strengthening life skills, and creating safe, child-friendly environments. The organisation works collaboratively with parents, schools, local governments, and other stakeholders to protect children’s rights and ensure inclusive opportunities for marginalized communities.
