In 2024, Sarathi Nepal, in collaboration with Let’s Read Nepal (The Asia Foundation),
successfully implemented a project aimed at promoting a culture of reading among children. By
combining traditional storytelling with digital resources, including the Let’s Read mobile app,
the initiative provided children with access to a diverse and engaging collection of books,
enhancing their language skills, creativity, and imagination.
The project actively involved teachers, parents, and School Management Committees, fostering
a collaborative environment that strengthened community engagement and supported children’s
literacy development. A total of 1,406 participants benefited from the program, which was
implemented across three private and two government schools in Lalitpur.
