Anuradha Sharma is an accomplished writer, translator, editor, and trainer with a distinguished career in Nepal’s education and literary sectors. She has worked with leading organisations such as Radio Nepal, Room to Read and READ Nepal and has served as a consultant for major international institutions including UNICEF, WWF, and the British Council.
Her commitment to education and literacy has earned her widespread recognition. In 2024, she was honoured as one of the 51 Most Influential Women in Nepal. She has also received the Education Excellence Award from the Prime Minister of Nepal for her outstanding contributions to the field.
Anuradha is also the Brand Ambassador for the Thang Foundation, a Netherlands based organisation where she continues to promote education, literature, and social impact initiatives. A passionate advocate for children’s literature, she is a former executive member of the Nepalese Society for Children's Literature (NESCHIL) and has worked extensively with schools across Nepal to enhance literacy and learning through storytelling, teacher training, and curriculum development.
