Bhola Kumar Shrestha is a highly accomplished librarian and information science expert with dual master’s degrees in Library & Information Science and Culture. He currently serves as the Chief Librarian and Member Secretary at the Dilliraman-Kalyani Regmi Memorial Library and is the former Chief Librarian of the Kaiser Library. He has held key roles at Tribhuvan University, Saraswoti Multiple Campus, and the Nepal National Library.
In addition to his professional achievements, Bhola has held founding and leadership roles as President of the Read Information Resource Centre (RIC), Nepal Library Association, and the Regional Federation of South Asian Library Associations. He also serves as an advisor to several library and education organizations, including READ Nepal and Bhimeswor Community Library.
Bhola is a recipient of the 1999 Education Award from the Ministry of Education and a UNESCO Fellowship. He has traveled extensively across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas, gaining valuable global perspectives on library science and education.
